Tanner Carrick Kicks Off Busy Stretch with KKM and a Cameo with Brian Cannon Motorsports

PETERSEN MEDIA: With Labor Day Weekend approaching, Tanner Carrick is gearing up for another busy stretch on his schedule that will see him in action on seven occasions in nine nights with Keith Kunz Motorsports, and during that stretch he will pilot the Brian Cannon Motorsports Winged 360ci sprint car on two occasions.

“It is always great when we are able to get in these speedweek type scenarios,” Tanner Carrick said. “It is really fun to run night after night, and really get into a groove. I’m excited to get back to racing with my Keith Kunz Motorsports team, and I am also really excited to driver for Brian Cannon at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday and Sunday night.”

This weekend will see Carrick and Keith Kunz Motorsports compete with the USAC National Midget Series in Illinois on Friday night before a POWRi Double-Header at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO.

On a hot streak in the midget as of late, Carrick will also try his hand with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour at Lake Ozark Speedway as he will hop in California native, turned Oklahoma resident, Brian Cannon’s No. 47 winged sprint car.

“It will be a ton of fun running some Double-Duty action this weekend,” Carrick said. “Circumstances kept me away from some sprint car racing at home last week, and I am really excited to work with Brian and run his sprint car alongside the my KKM midget.”

Following this busy weekend, Carrick and KKM will travel to Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday and Thursday for the 2nd Annual BC39, before two more POWRi shows in Illinois at Jacksonville Speedway on September 6th and Spoon River on September 7th.

“It is a daunting couple of weeks for us, but I couldn’t do it without great people behind me,” Carrick said. “Thanks to the KKM guys for everything they continue to do, and thanks to Brian Cannon for the opportunity to log some sprint car laps.”

Tanner Carrick and the Keith Kunz Motorsports team would like to thank Craftsman, CVC, TRD, Spike Chassis, Cemex, Arai, and Shell Shock for their support.
