From Indiana to Illinois; It’s Midget Week Season for Tanner Carrick

PETERSEN MEDIA: With a grueling Indiana Midget Week now in the books, Tanner Carrick is primed and ready to battle in Illinois this week as POWRi Midget Week gets going on Wednesday night.

Moving into the feature event, Carrick would battle hard with some of the best in Midget racing as he capped the opener off with a ninth place finish.

Jockeying for position amongst the Top-10 much of the race, Carrick would slip back in the closing laps as he finished 14th. With rain washing Sunday’s finale out, Saturday night at Lawrenceburg Speedway would act as the IMW finale.

“It is a tough week, but my guys stuck behind me and we battled hard,” Carrick said. “Looking forward to getting to Illinois this week and seeing what we can do.”
